The Left Training Turn (LTT)
Photo Sequencing
This is the hardest turn to teach to new students. Why? Because before you turn, you have to 'snub' the leash on your left thigh to keep the dog's head close to your body. IF you don't 'snub' and make a left turn, you are going to fall and your dog will think you are a clutz. Not a bad thing as then the dog will stay away from forging in front of you for fear you'll fall again-:) However, the LTT is easier than falling. 'Snub' is the key to success for executing the LTT well and NOT falling.
