● The dog reads your feet and reads your hand signals without ANY pressure from the leash.
EXAM 1 - Vickster’s Test (You must pass before taking Exam 2) Note: Leash is loosely around your shoulders, so NO leash corrections AT ALL.
● At least 15 ft. of straight line heeling
● Right Turns, Left Turns, and Right About Turns (No Left About Turn)
● At least 5 Auto Sits
● Sit/Stay at 6 ft. for 3 min.
● Stand for 1 min.
● Sit/Stay at 6 ft. for 1 min.
● Two downs * Remember Exercise Finish after every Sit, Stand, or Down

EXAM 2 - String Test
Attach snap bolt to loop of string (plain or quilting thread) attached to live ring of collar.
● At least 15 ft. of straight line heeling
● Right Turns, Left Turns, and Right About Turns (Left About Turn optional)
● Auto Sits
● Sit/Stay for 1 min.
● Stand for 1 min.
● Two downs * Remember Exercise Finish after every Sit, Stand, or Down * At the end of the test, break the string ON THE VIDEO

❖ Follow Training Protocol before and after every session
❖ Before each session: LL warmup until the dog ignores high distractions
❖ After each session: LL Cool Down
❖ Quiet Time should be done at least 2 times a day
● Days 1-2: Low distractions ● Days 3-4: Medium distractions ● Days 5-6: High distractions
● Days 1-2: Low distractions ● Days 3-4: Medium distractions ● Days 5-6: High distractions
